Production Supervisor

For over 50 years, Chase Brass has been producing brass rod in the USA for hundreds of different everyday items faucet parts, auto parts, valves, hardware, couplings, sensors, etc. and not so everyday parts like the 2002 Olympic Torch. In fact, you'd probably be surprised to know how many different objects you own that are made possible because of the physical characteristics of brass.

Responsibilities
This position will have responsibility for managing the production process and supervising employees in a high volume, dynamic 24 hour per day operating environment. This supervisor will be responsible for achieving company objectives related to safety, product quality, productivity and manufacturing costs.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess:
High school diploma or equivalent at a minimum; post-secondary education preferred
Excellent organizational, leadership and communication skills
Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office applications
Minimum 2 years of previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement preferred
Ability to work any shift as needed
